Review of the work
Shoulder dystocia is an obstetric emergency that can occur during delivery care and that can have significant consequences for both the mother and the fetus. Once its diagnosis is established, it is essential that a rapid and precise intervention takes place in order to achieve its resolution with the least maternal and fetal complications. In this work we update the available evidence on epidemiology, risk factors, prevention, prediction and management of it.
